About The Samovar Network
The Samovar Network is a multimedia venue dedicated to having honest conversations, and modeling dialogue within the Afghan diaspora. We seek to platform Afghan voices and engage with marginalized voices, serving as a cultural archive for our community. Our panels consist of Afghan activists, scholars, artists, professionals and community members committed to exchanging ideas and discussing issues often seen as taboo. Racism, Black Lives Matter, Gender Roles, #Metoo movement, Homophobia, have all been part of TSN’s monthly discussions.
